STUDY OF THE SENSITIVITY OF MICROFLORA OF THE CONJUNCTIVAL CAVITY IN PATIENTS BEFORE MICROSURGICAL INTERVENTIONS AND POSSIBILITY OF NTIBIOTIC PREVENTION OF POSTOPERATIVE COMPLICATIONS

Miroshnik D. M.

Kharkov, Ukraine

The study of microflora of the conjunctival cavity was carried out in 40 eyes before the surgical interventions. Pathogenic microflora — epidermal staphylococcus, hemolytic streptococcus, coliform bacterium were revealed in all cases. The highest sensitivity of the cultured strains is determined to tobramycin, moxifloxacin and gentamicin. The use of the ocular drops of tobramycin 0.3 % («Tobrirned» World Medicine) in the pre-operation period allowed to get sanitation of the conjunctival cavity in 100 % of cases.
