RESTORATIVE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH TRAUMATIC DISLOCATION OF THE EYE LENS

The analysis of operative treatment of 141 patients with traumatic dislocation of the lens was conducted separately in three groups: patients with subluxation lens, with luxation lens and IOL with disposition. In 84.6 % of cases complications during surgery and postoperative period were not observed. Restoration of visual acuity up to 0.3—1.0 is noted in 85.7 % of cases after pars plana surgery and in 71.1 % after anterior eye operations.

The transciliary method of surgery proved to be the most expedient in luxation lens as well as in subluxation with expressed dislocation of the lens in vitreous body.
