The results of complex examination of 46 patients with pseudoexfoliative glaucoma (PEG) and cataract are presented in this work. PEG was revealed in 18,7 % of patients. Carrying out investigations made it possible to turn out the clinical-morphological peculiarity of PEG, the character of eye hydrodynamic, visual acuity and field of vision, and also the condition of nervus opticus, which were depending on PEG stage and PES extent.

The analysis of treatment, which was carrying out in our patients was shown that the most effective method is the simultaneous cataract extraction (phacoemulsification) with antiglaucoma operation, which makes it possible to standardize the IOP and to receive the high functional results (average visual acute increased to 0,45±0,02 by comparison with 0,13±0,03 before the operation ) in shorter rehabilitation time (average time of hospitalization was 5,7±0,04 days).
