There was studied the regeneration of the superficial epithelium of the cornea after the transplantation of the suspension of the autologous limbic cells cultivated in vitro on the experimental model of partial limbic insufficiency. There were operated 14 chinchilla rabbits which were transplanted the autotransplant of the preliminarily modeled partial limbic insufficiency under the autoconjunctiva obtained from the eyes of healthy rabbits and laboratory cultivated. As a result of the surgery the total epithelization of the cornea defect began with the clear differentiation of the anterior epithelium into the layers.
