Resume: Presented data about importance of lutien and zeaxanthin in prevention and treatment of age macular degeneration (AMD). In the article cited the main differences between esterified and non-esterified lutein and showed advantages of non-esterified (pure) lutein. Here described the unique microgranulate Actilease technology which provides 100% bioavailability of pure lutein.
